£25 says your neighbours will come if you ask
This summer Neya is offering £25 to help you make the first move to bring your street together.
Create a street meetup on Neya (think street drinks, picnic, coffee morning — whatever works for your patch), invite people nearby, and get 6 local people to join.
We'll chip in £25 for the first 100 events in Oxford. Spend it on whatever you like — drinks, those crisps you like, a few sarnies. It's yours.

Think drinks outside someone's house, a few snacks in a shared garden, or a picnic in the nearest green space. The point is not the event. The point is making it easier for neighbours to meet.

Why we're doing this
Most people are up for meeting neighbours when someone makes the first move.
Neya is designed to make it easy to get things going in your area. So we're putting up £25 to prove it, one street meetup at a time.
Step 2
Apply for £25Neya will support up to 100 approved street events during June and July 2026. The £25 is a contribution towards the event, not payment for organising it. Approved events will receive the money up to 7 days before the event date. Neya can approve, decline, pause or change the campaign if needed.
