Everyone has a local. Most people have never had a drink in it with anyone who lives on their own street.
It isn't shyness. It's that a pub is the one place where turning up alone and hoping is genuinely worse than not going, so nobody goes, and the pub fills with other people's friends.

- What if I don't drink?
- Then you don't drink. A fair few Neya pub plans have somebody on lime and soda, and a few groups deliberately meet somewhere that does decent food and coffee for exactly this reason.
- How many people usually come?
- Most pub plans land between four and eight. Big enough that it isn't on you to keep the conversation going, small enough that you actually talk to everyone.
- Can I bring someone?
- Yes. When you say you're coming, Neya asks if you're bringing anyone, and the headcount goes to whoever's booking.
